We are seeking a skilled, ambitious iOS developer to join our growing mobile development team in Eugene, OR. Our ideal candidate has extensive Swift knowledge, demonstrated experience integrating with third-party devices in the Apple ecosystem, and a passion for building flawless user experiences through hardware.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop, maintain and publish mobile apps for App and Play stores.
Integrate third-party hardware devices to work seamlessly within our systems.
Build intuitive user experiences for complex technological features.
Work with technical leaders to design flows that enable success for our customers.
Use multiple programming languages in creating new iOS apps.
Work in small teams with technical leaders to provide feedback and code reviews for other engineers.
Openness, positivity, a drive to learn new skills, and an ability to work effectively as part of a fast-moving deadline-driven team.
3+ years in an iOS development role using asynchronous programming, event-driven programming, API integration, third-party SDKs, and unit testing.
2+ years of experience working on live development in an engineering role.
Demonstrated competence using at least 2 of the following frameworks/languages: Swift, Objective-C, C#, or C/C++.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles, best practices, and human interface guidelines.
Strong understanding of design patterns.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions to the team.
Experience deploying live products and features.
Strong communication skills. Experience communicating with remote teams a plus.
Demonstrated experience working with intuitive UX systems and solving usability problems.

Understanding of Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), RPC/REST over HTTP, Z-wave, or Zigbee.
Deploying Apple Enterprise apps.
Live development experience using React-Native.
Experience with Android development in React-Native, Java, or Kotlin.
Experience managing devices via MDM, DEP, and VPP.
Experience with code review processes & tools (pull or merge requests).
