Android Developer

Eugene, OR

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking hungry Android developers to join our growing team in Eugene, OR. As an Android developer at First Foundry, you will be working in close collaboration with web and mobile development teams to create scalable cloud solutions with complex integrations to mobile desktop applications. We are focused on building quality mobile & web products, and we need driven individuals who are ready to build great software and a company or two along the way.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop high quality features and technologies on mobile platforms in collaboration with design, product and development teams.

  • Build intuitive user interfaces on cutting-edge technologies, and solve complex design and technical challenges.

  • Work with technical leaders to design Android applications from the ground up, through all aspects of the project lifecycle.

  • Work in small teams with technical leaders to provide feedback and code reviews for other engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of professional experience in native Android Development and Java programming.

  • Working knowledge of security industry best practices for modern enterprise mobile applications.

  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and common workflows.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in manual and automated software testing techniques, such as UI Testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and performance testing.

  • Experience working on complex projects with multiple SDK variants.

  • We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas at this time.

BONUS ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience shipping and scaling enterprise level projects.

  • Experience in SDK and library development.

  • Familiarity with testing tools.

  • Experience with test automation scripting to enhance productivity.

This position provides a globally competitive base salary and project bonus eligibility, as well as relocation assistance and healthcare benefits.
